Hey all you hunters and no-hunters alike. I got a plan, let's take off a few days at the end of April and go mushroom hunting. I am gonna take a day or two off and go to Brown County. I thought some of the Investigator Types might like to go to Site M and get lost looking for Shrooms.
Just a thought.

Jackamo, If I'm not mistaken that is the Jim Edgar park up northwest of here. Sounds like you are in. I hope so, I like to see a city boy find some shrooms.
Matter of fact, sometime around the end of April would be a good time to take your boy down to my place. We could acclimate him to the woods, show him where he may be hunting, and find some bonus shrooms.

Can a tired old retired guy tag along. If you want to go where we won't get lost I have 1000 acres in Schuyler County but have no idea when or where to look for those tasty morsels. We gots baffrooms, showers, lectriciteee, runnin water, kitchen and the HOLE(sic) bit. Can make it an overnight if I can trust you boys not to sneak up on me when Im sleepin. We gots seperate bedrooms (11) and the hole shot if you wants to brung yer spouses. Love to catch Jack and Olive in a love tussle.

KD, I am in for the trip to the 1000 acre woods. I would love that before heading off to school! That sounds like my kind of camping.

I wouldn't mind goin along for some 'shoom huntin, haven't been since I was a lil chilun taggin along with grandpa.
I'm up for campin too, specially if we bring weapons of minor destruction along (AR-15s, AK-47s and such)

Alright, Its a deal. It starts around April 21st and gets better from there. KDM you set the date. I will take off or we can go on a weekend. Sounds like we have a crew.
We need a trip prior to get Hass out to cleanse his soul. You know, prior to the run and gun of academia.
